We have a unique opportunity for a second or third year student to experience a truly fulfilling and educational year in industry. Working in either the consumer healthcare, pharmaceutical or food manufacturing sectors, you will be well-supported and mentored during your placement, enabling you to grow both personally and professionally. You will be assisting experienced project engineers and project managers and have constant exposure to new machines, new techniques, continual variety, and opportunities to learn. You will gain substantial hands-on experience and become an integral part of our team, experiencing the project management process from start to finish. You will also get the opportunity to get involved in internal business initiatives, developing soft skills and commercial awareness, and if desired, begin working towards Chartered status. At J P Hildreth, we have developed a training and support programme designed to give you exposure to both technical and safety knowledge. You will have a personal development plan, a Line Manager to work closely with, and a mentor who can support your learning and answer your questions.

Must be a current student undertaking a Bachelors or Masters Engineering degree. Ambition, excellent communication skills and the desire to become a Chartered Engineer.
